Come to the place where art and nature converge in the Pacific Northwest.
This Sculpture Park and Nature Reserve is located on the San Juan Islands in Washington State. There are over 150 sculptures found throughout the 20 acres of this park, which were made by sculptors from around the country and the Washington region. Founded in 1988, visitors can witness breathtaking art set against a natural background.
A unique feature of the sculpture garden is that the art rotates each month. There are new pieces of art on display so that guests can get a new experience every time they come. After about two years, many of the artworks are taken out of rotation and sold. This is a pet-friendly park where visitors are welcome to take pictures and sit down for a picnic among the beautiful surroundings. There are many walking trails where you can explore the various art sculptures placed throughout the park and see some of the apple trees from the orchard that used to be here. The San Juan Islands Sculpture Park and Natural Reserve is open everyday from dawn until dusk and entry is donation-based, making this a convenient, inspiring, and one-of-a-kind place for anyone to visit.
