Visit this historic garden, established in 1915.
The Olmsted Brothers Landscape firm designed the Dunn Gardens in 1915. It is located in Seattle's Broadview neighborhood and had a cottage known as Arthur Dunn's summer country place for him and his family. The original house was demolished in 1949, but other small cottages and structures have since been put in place. This botanical garden features beautiful vistas, a wonderful plant collection, and a peaceful place to take a stroll. It encompasses seven acres and has many trails with trees, shrubs, perennials, and annuals in its plant collection.
Dunn Gardens is open from 9 am to 4 pm Monday through Saturday, and admission rates are $10 per person. They often host seasonal tours, concerts, holiday events, and classes, so check out their website for the most current information. If you're visiting Seattle and want a lovely place to pass the time, stop by this botanical garden.
