The Seattle Aquarium is located off of Interstate 5, across from the Pike Place Market. Wildlife you will see include killdeer, puffins, otters, seals, various tropical fish, seahorses, jellyfish, cuttlefish, hermit crabs, and more. Be sure to check out the tide pools, underwater dome, and the large window overlooking Puget Sound during your visit. You can also learn about the orca population at the family activity center.
This aquarium is open daily from 9:30 am to 6 pm. To avoid large crowds, consider coming here after 3 pm if you're planning to visit on the weekend. If you love marine life, you won't regret visiting the Seattle Aquarium. You can easily spend half a day here observing all the aquatic creatures that call this place home. Don't hesitate to have a bite to eat at the cafe, their menu includes items such as fish and chips or burgers.
