Kentucky Railway Museum

Themed train rides, a train museum, and a guided walking tour await you in Kentucky.

This is a fun place to visit and experience while in New Haven, Kentucky. The museum has train-related exhibits and events plus children's activities. Guests will see authentic train items on display, a model train, and much more during their visit. You can roam around the train yard or take a guided walking tour with expert docents. The train rides are wonderful, and there are several themed train rides throughout the year, such as The Autumn Train Ride with a magician, The Pumpkin Patch Express, and The Santa Express with helpers reading The Night Before Christmas.

There is a Train Robbery Sunday train, a Mystery tour, plus an Easter Train that features the Easter Bunny and finishes the ride with an Easter egg hunt. The train rides are 1.5 hours long. They take you from New Haven to Boston and back. Halfway through the ride, there is a rest stop where you can visit a country store. The Kentucky Railway Museum has been open since 1954.
