Enjoy views of Connecticut's Kent Falls.
Kent Falls State Park is located in northwestern Connecticut. This cascading waterfall goes 250 feet down and meets up with the Housatonic River. Kent Falls is one of the most scenic places in the state, and it officially became a state park over 100 years ago. There are grills and picnic areas available here, making it a great place to enjoy the fresh air and spend quality time with friends and family.
Please note that parking is limited, and the park will close for several hours at a time once the parking lot is full. There are paved pathways, trails, and stairs that lead to different viewpoints of the falls. You can also see the river from the parking lot and parts of the trails. The best time of year is usually in early spring, when the falls have the most water, but Kent Falls is a neat point of interest all year long.
