The Georgia Museum of Art has been around since 1948 and is located at the University of Georgia. It features both rotating and permanent exhibits year-round, and they offer various programs plus an annual pop-up artist market. You will find art from Africa, Asia, Europe, and the American continent in their permanent collection. The American collection has over 150 paintings, including work from Andy Warhol.
Museum hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm, Thursday from 10 am to 9 pm, and Sunday from 1 pm to 5 pm. Admission is free for all ages, but they always welcome donations. This museum is fully ADA-accessible, and you can even schedule tours for individuals that are deaf and hard of hearing.
