Bring your tent and camp at the world-famous Fishlake National Forest.
Fishlake National Forest is located in Richfield, Utah, and features the largest natural mountain lake in Utah. It is also home to the Pando aspen forest, which is believed to be the largest single organism on earth. There are over 40,000 single aspen trees here, but they all originated from the same seed. The forest leaves turn yellow and orange in the fall and make a great backdrop for landscape photography.
This national forest is perfect for hiking, horseback riding, offroading, fishing, and wildlife observation. If you want to stay awhile, reserve a campsite at this central Utah forest. It has 29 developed campgrounds, 9 undeveloped campgrounds, and a few rustic cabins. Keep an eye out for elk, deer, moose, black bears, and cougars. These are the largest animals that inhabit the area. Remember to keep your distance from the wildlife and do not disturb them. If you love the great outdoors, be sure to visit Fishlake National Forest.
