Pick up some fresh produce at this family farm.
Located in Bryson City, North Carolina, this second-generation family farm is open daily all-year-round (weather permitting). You can expect to find produce items such as strawberries, onions, corn, tomatoes, peppers, and blackberries. During May and June, visitors can even come and pick their own strawberries. If you're here in the fall, there will be hayrides, a corn maze, and a chance to pick your own pumpkin.
Educational tours are available anytime and will give you an opportunity to see what farm life is about, and they will teach you about the history of their farming land. The Darnell family farm is great for any age, so don't hesitate to come by and see what they have to offer. March 31 through October 31, they are open from 9 am to 7 pm, and the rest of the year, they are open from 9 am to 6 pm. The farm is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Years Day.
