Take an easy hike to this scenic waterfall close to Marquette.
This waterfall is wider than it is tall and features a short hike (less than half a mile round-trip). There is a large unpaved parking area with a yellow sign by the bridge. Pedestrians and bikers are allowed on the bridge. The path leads down under a large water pipe where you will reach a viewpoint on the right side of the falls. Another way to see the falls is by following the trail to the left of the river (don't cross the bridge). This trail takes you downhill but flattens out and follows the river up to the falls.
The fall is a great time to visit Wright Street Falls. Be sure to wear sturdy hiking boots, there are several slippery spots around the falls. This is an easy hike that is quite close to the city and a nice spot to enjoy a breath of fresh air.
