Visit one of the top state parks in Wisconsin.
Peninsula State Park is located in northeastern Wisconsin, north of Green Bay. It has over 450 campsites, an 18-hole golf course, a nature center, a historic lighthouse, picnic areas, and miles of incredible natural beauty. Many people enjoy spending time at Nicolet Bay Beach. Have some fun in the sun here and bring some volleyballs to play at their outdoor volleyball courts. This park is fantastic for group outings such as family picnics. Some of the picnic areas have flushing toilets open from May 1 through October 31.
This state park is open year-round from 6 am to 11 pm. It is a popular place for camping, so plan to make reservations ahead of time to ensure you have a place to set up camp when you visit. There are five different campgrounds, many of which offer electric hook-ups. Feel free to rent bikes, canoes, or kayaks from the camp store if you need to borrow recreational equipment during your visit. If you love camping and having a good time in the outdoors, be sure to stop by Peninsula State Park in Wisconsin.
