Wonderland Lake Park is a wildlife sanctuary located in northern Boulder, Colorado. Walking, biking, horseback riding, fishing, and observing wildlife are popular activities among visitors. The park requires everyone to remain on the trails to protect the local flora and fauna. Leashed dogs are also allowed on the trails. Many people also come here for hang gliding and paragliding. There are three walk-up launch zones and one vehicle drop-off zone where you can begin your descent towards the Foothills Community Park nearby.
There is one picnic table at the trailhead guests can use, but please note that grills are prohibited. The parking lot only has about 20 spaces, so arrive early to ensure you can find a spot by the trailhead. Wonderland Lake Park has no entrance fees and is open year-round.
