Visit one of the most scenic waterfalls in Arkansas.
Twin Falls is located in northwestern Arkansas within the Ozark National Forest. Sometimes the Twin Falls looks like Triple Falls after heavy rain. It is about a 1/2-mile hike that is accessible from the Camp Orr Campground. You will have to cross Richland Creek, but do not attempt to cross if you can't see the bottom of the creek.
The closer you get to the falls, the less maintained the trail becomes, so this hike is ideal for experienced hikers. There are several swimming holes at the base of Twin Falls, so feel free to bring a swimsuit with you and stay for a while. This is one of the most photographed waterfalls in Arkansas, and this hike is always worth the effort. If you're seeking adventure in the Ozarks, be sure to hike to Twin Falls.
