Take a tram ride through this fantastic cavern in southern Missouri.
The Fantastic Caverns were first discovered in the 1800s by a local farmer, John Knox, and his dog. To preserve the beauty of this cave, they offer tram rides for visitors so they can see the entire cave system without having to walk anywhere. Since it is underground, the temperatures remain the same year-round; it is open rain or shine. You may want to bring a light jacket with you; it is about 60 degrees Fahrenheit throughout this cavern.
Each tour takes 55-minutes to complete and provides up-close views through one mile of the cave. This ride-through adventure is perfect for all ages and is a natural wonder to behold. It is open daily from 8 am to dusk and only closes on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas day. Visit the Fantastic Caverns with your friends and family today!
