White Oak Lake State Park is located in southwestern Arkansas. It boasts over 12 miles of hiking trails and is a popular place for kayaking, fishing, and camping. Feel free to explore the trails and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature through the forest. Wildlife living at the park include bats, shrews, gophers, beavers, river otters, skunks, flying squirrels, deer, and more. Fishing boats, kayaks, and pedal boats are available for rent if you want to explore the lake.
There is also a visitor center with exhibits to help guests learn about the local wildlife and geological makeup of the area. The visitor center is open daily from March through November from 8 am to 5 pm, and December through February on Saturdays and Sundays only from 1 pm to 5 pm.
