Visit this historical museum dedicated to the lives lost from the Titanic shipwreck in 1912.
In 1987, parts of the famous Titanic ship were found, and historians flocked to the scene to salvage artifacts from the wreckage. One professional in particular by the name of John Jocelyn vowed to restore pieces of the ship to their former glory and help lead a documentary of the discoveries. Originally, 2,208 passengers boarded the ornate cruise ship. John wished to honor their memory and the craftsmen that put so many hours into creating the beautiful ship. A replica of the main staircase was even built, which helps guests immerse themselves into one of the most historical moments in history.
Testimonials from real survivors of the original crash have been implemented into the exhibits. The original ship was built in Ireland, so many of the survivors included guests of Irish descent. Many communities, including religious observers, are honored among the wide variety of people who came aboard the ship. A live theater and other interactional components offer an educational experience over multiple subjects. Discover details about the Titanic like never before during your trip to Missouri.
