A dinosaur-themed park that kids of all abilities can enjoy together.
Thunder Junction All Abilities Park offers a variety of attractions, including a splash pad, train rides, climbing walls, a covered pavilion, picnic tables, an erupting volcano, a thrilling zipline, a big swing, a waterfall, musical instruments, and walking pathways. All of the attractions here are wheelchair accessible. The park's ground has a series of soft mats, making it easy for guests with wheelchairs to get around. The big swings also accommodate wheelchairs. The train rides around the park on a lengthy 2,700-foot track. It goes through tunnels, over bridges, and features hidden dinosaurs all the way around.
The volcano erupts periodically, spewing out a puff of smoke. Inside the volcano, you can sit at the covered picnic table eating area. Other amenities include clean handicap-accessible restrooms, drinking fountains, and shade sails over the children's play equipment. Thunder Junction All Abilities Park features a dinosaur theme. This park is located in Tonaquint Park off of Dixie Drive and is open daily from 9 am to 10 pm. Admission is free, but the train ride costs one dollar per person. Please note that the train is available on varying days depending on the season. If you have small children that love to run around, check out this park in St. George, Utah.
