Located in the Red Hills right above St. George, this garden is a conservation garden featuring 5,000 desert plants, pathed walkways, and dinosaur tracks dating from 200 million years ago. You will also see a beautiful water feature with native and endangered fish. Feel free to explore the replica slot canyon near the center of the garden. This tourist attraction is open year-round and is free to the public.
The garden has been open since 2015 and is open daily from 6 am to 10 pm. Enjoy walking around the five acres of garden or sit on one of the bench swings. This garden is educational, offering various events for all ages, including landscape training, gardening classes, plant identification, Spring Fling, scarecrow walk, and holiday lights. The Red Hills Desert Garden is a great place to hike and soak in the desert landscapes of southern Utah.
