Visit this historical museum located inside the old Union Station building.
The Durham Museum is located off of Interstate 480 across from the Missouri River. Visitors will see different exhibits featuring topics such as industry, history, culture, and science. Permanent displays include several galleries and an area that offers insight into the lives of early townsfolk and their living quarters. There is also an authentic streetcar that you are welcome to sit in and vintage train cars you can explore. Visit their website for information about current exhibits on display.
Guests are welcome anytime between 10 am and 4 pm Tuesday through Saturday and from 12 pm to 4 pm on Sunday. This museum is closed on Mondays and most major holidays. Admission rates range from $7 to $11, and children 2 and younger are free to enter. Advance tickets aren't required, so if you're visiting Omaha and need somewhere to spend your free time, the Durham Museum is a great place to go.
