Something fun for the whole family while visiting Greenville, South Carolina is a trip to The Children’s Museum of the Upstate. The idea of this museum was conceived by a group of moms who wanted a place where kids could get creative and have a blast while learning important concepts and problem-solving skills all at once. This is one of the biggest children’s museums in the world at 80,000 square feet and is mostly aimed at kids between the ages of 0-12. There are 30 amazing and diverse exhibits that are bound to captivate the interest of everyone who visits!
Some of the exhibits you’ll find at TCMU include the Animation Station, Garage Rock, Toddler Lily Pond, Sensory Square, Up in the Air, Construction Zone, and Bib’s World, which is a wheelchair-accessible outdoor play area. You will easily be able to spend a full day exploring all the unique and engaging areas of the museum and will want to make plans for a trip back as soon as possible! TCMU is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 9-5, Sunday from 11-5, and closed on Monday. Come play, learn, and explore at The Children’s Museum of the Upstate the next time you’re in Greenville!
