This beautiful recreation area spans 695 acres of land along the shores of Lake Francis Case, a reservoir on the Missouri River. Besides boating and fishing, other activities visitors enjoy at this site include basketball, biking, hiking, horseshoes, picnicking, swimming, volleyball, and walking. Visitors can check out fishing poles, horseshoes, life jackets, basketballs, and volleyballs during their visit. The Snake Creek Recreation Area is open year-round, with some amenities closed from October to April. Vault toilets usually remain open.
They also have sites with electrical hookups, tent campsites, and camping cabins available if you're interested in camping. The park has 115 campsites and 10 camping cabins available to reserve. The nearest town to this recreation area is Platte. There is a dump station, drinking water, concessions, boat ramps, and a fish cleaning station. Guests enjoy swimming beaches, shore fishing access, playgrounds, picnic tables, and hiking trails here too. This park is pet-friendly, and the grass is regularly mowed and features several shade trees. The east campground has paved parking, the west campground has gravel pads, and the playgrounds are close to the camping sites.
