Come and see over 13,000 exotic animals here.
At the Saint Louis Zoo, you can make your way through six different areas. Each area is filled with exotic animals, mostly pertaining to a specific biome found around the globe. They also have a state-of-the-art veterinary clinic for sick or injured animals and research laboratories. The zoo strives to protect animals and save endangered species through its conservation programs. They offer several educational programs to teach the public about respect for animals, conservation, and diversity within the animal kingdom.
Among one of these educational programs is an animal information hotline. The number for the hotline can be found on their website. This hotline allows individuals to receive information about different types of animals. The hotline is especially advantageous for kids and youth to find help with homework and school research projects.
The zoo hosts a variety of events throughout the year. One of the most popular events is called Wild Lights in December. If you come during the Christmas season, the zoo is filled with millions of lights for guests to enjoy. It is free for everyone to enter this incredible zoo, but there are some fees for certain attractions. This is one zoo that you won’t want to miss.
