What began as a simple house on a rock transformed into an exotic and unique collection. Alex Jordan started Wisconsin’s house on the rock in 1945. Jordan simply wanted to create a retreat on top of the rock. His dream became a reality and is now home to a collection of unusual things.
The cost of admission to this house on the rock varies based on the attractions you want to see. Prices range from $15 to $25 for adults, seniors, and military, and $9 to $14 for ages 4-17. All children ages 3 and under have free admission. Their hours vary depending on the time of year.
There are many unique attractions to explore here. One of the most well-known attractions is called the Infinity Room featuring over 3000 windows. This room stretches more than 100 feet giving guests an unobstructed panoramic view of the outside. Some of the other exhibits include the music of yesterday, the world’s largest indoor carousel, the heritage of the sea, and more.
