See the largest collection of reptiles in the northwestern United States.
Reptile Zoo is located off Highway 2 in Monroe, Washington (about 40 minutes northeast of Seattle). This attraction was founded in 1996 by the famous "Reptile Man" known as Scott Petersen. Scott was a guest on Bill Nye the Science Guy and PBS Biz Kids. He puts on engaging educational reptile shows and often does school assemblies in the community. At the Reptile Zoo, guests will see an albino alligator, a two-headed turtle, a black mamba, vipers, a king cobra, lizards, and more.
Hours are daily from 10 am to 5 pm (closed on Wednesday) and Sundays from 12 pm to 5 pm. Admission rates are less than $10 per person. The price of a general admission ticket includes free tortoise touching, but other close encounters require an additional fee. Close encounters will allow you to touch two to three of the animals.
