See Penske team racecars and various racing memorabilia, medals, and trophies.
The Penske Racing Museum showcases a collection of over a dozen Penske team race cars. This museum displays many trophies, medals, and plenty of racing memorabilia for visitors. Penske Racing has more than 50 years off racing with more than 500 major race wins, 34 championships, and 17 Indianapolis 500-mile race victories. The museum has a replica of the 1963 Pontiac Catalina, the car that Roger Penske drove to victory in the 1963 Riverside 250. Many of Indianapolis's 500-mile race winners are displayed in the museum.
On the 2nd floor of the museum, you can eat at The Turn 4 Café. It is open Monday through Friday from 10 am to 2:30 pm. The Café is a great gathering place offering various breakfast or lunch menu items. An excellent seating area in the café is on the mezzanine overlooking the test track and the Land Rover off-road course. The Penske racing Museum is open from 8 am to 4 pm, Monday - Saturday and Sunday from 12 pm to 5 pm. The museum is just 24 miles from downtown Phoenix and 25 miles from Phoenix's Sky Harbor Airport.
