The Desert Botanical Garden encompasses 140-acres and is located in Papago Park in Phoenix, Arizona. This place is definitely one of the top things to see in the area. It features 50,000 desert plants against a lovely backdrop of the red rocks of Papago Buttes. There are five distinct trails to explore to discover the desert plants that thrive here. You can either do a self-guided tour or opt for one of their specialized tours during your visit. They also host special events, seasonal exhibits, concerts, family activities, and more.
Gertrude's restaurant is located on-site and is open for lunch and dinner Monday through Friday from 10:30 am to 8 pm. You can also come for brunch on Saturday and Sunday between 8 am and 2:45 pm, or dinner on the weekends between 3:30 pm and 8 pm. Additionally, you could stop for a quick bite to eat at the cafe on the terrace daily between 8 am and 4 pm. Anyone visiting Phoenix should add the Desert Botanical Garden to their itinerary.
