The Olbrich Botanical Gardens are situated near Lake Monona in Madison, Wisconsin. It has 16 acres of the landscape featuring plants native to the midwestern United States. Flowers you may see blooming (depending on the season) include begonias, dahlias, skyflowers, gingerlily, papermulberry, and more. Different areas within the garden include the moonlight meadow, arbor, herb garden, rose garden, sunken garden, and terrace.
Olbrich Botanical Gardens has been open since 1952 and it has an electric tram that runs from May to September that guests can ride in order to see the gardens without having to walk around. This botanical garden is open daily from 10 am to 4 pm and admission is free for all visitors. If you want to see the tropical plants and birds inside the conservatory, tickets cost $6 per person; however, this attraction is free from 10 am to noon on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
