The Moss Mansion Museum is an important landmark in Billings, Montana. It is the largest mansion made of red sandstone. Henry Janeway Hardenbergh designed the Moss Mansion. He is the famous New York architect who also designed the Waldorf Astoria, Willard, and Copley Plaza hotels.
The Moss Mansion is a 28-room mansion built in 1903. It features today the original draperies, fixtures, furniture, carpet, and artifacts. There are tours available for guests, which can either be self-guided guided tours depending on your preference. There are seasonal events and festivals held at the mansion throughout the year that the public can participate in. This is an exquisite place to visit while traveling through the Billings area.
