Kiawah Beachwalker Park is a loved beach that has lifeguards, outdoor showers, umbrella and chair rentals, a dressing area, restrooms, a small store with some beach-related items, a concession stand, and a boardwalk that takes visitors to the beach. At the entrance, they have honor box parking. The picnic area is close to oak trees, the water is warm with plenty of waves. The park is open year-round and is much less crowded in the winter months. A bonus is getting to spot some dolphins during your visit. The park is a heritage preserve area and wildlife refuge for turtles and sea birds. The beach has some tips on how to leave the sand and surrounding areas in a way that is best for the turtles.
Kiawah Beachwalker Park is a great area to spend the day outdoors. The park is open from 9 am - 8 pm. Come enjoy the updated showers, beach walkway, and pristine, white sand dunes. It will be hard to leave!
