Go boating and camping at the Jordanelle Reservoir.
Jordanelle State Park is located off US Highway 189, southeast of Park City, Utah. It features a large reservoir where guests can go boating, canoeing, swimming, and waterskiing. Other popular outdoor activities include bird watching, hiking, nature photography, and camping. Amenities include boat ramps, a marina store, a pro shop, reservable cabanas, cabins, restrooms, a fish cleaning station, and campgrounds. You can bring a tent or RV to Jordanelle if you want an extended stay, and camping reservations can be made up to four months in advance.
This state park is open daily from 6 am to 10 pm (in the day-use areas). You could easily spend a whole day on the water at this state park. Anglers can expect to find brown trout, rainbow trout, cutthroat, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, and perch. If you need a little break, head to the Rock Cliff area and watch the local wildlife.
