Wasatch Mountain State Park is a stunning spot just outside of Deer Creek State Park near Heber, Utah. This is the place you want to be if you are a golf enthusiast because they have two full courses, Soldier Hollow and Wasatch Mountain to practice golfing. Fall is one of the best times to visit the park, the mountainside features red, orange, and yellow leaves on all the trees. Hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, and camping are go-to activities for many summertime visitors. Keep your eyes peeled for turkeys, moose, and elk while exploring the trails. In the winter months, this popular state park is a hit for skiers, snowmobilers, and snowshoers.
If you want to enjoy a camping trip, please note that you can book a campsite in the Pine Creek Campground up to 16 weeks in advance. Day-use fees are $10 per car (up to 8 people) or $5 per car for senior citizens. With over 20,000 acres, this beautiful state park is an excellent spot to enjoy outdoor recreation for anyone visiting Utah.
