Humboldt Redwoods State Park

This state park holds some of the oldest trees in the world, making it a magical place to enjoy pastimes like hiking, fishing, and camping.

The old-growth forests throughout California are such an integral part of the state, with the redwoods in Humboldt Redwoods State Park being as much as 2,000 years old. Located in the northern portion of California, Humboldt Redwoods State Park is the world’s largest remaining contiguous old-growth coast redwood forest. At 53,000 acres in size and situated along the Eel River, there is plenty to explore within the park.
