See this incredible Oregon waterfall near the Columbia River.
Gorton Creek Falls is located off Interstate 84 within the Columbia River Gorge Scenic Area in northern Oregon. It is 115 feet tall, and you can reach this waterfall by way of the Wyeth Trailhead. This waterfall is one of the more secluded ones along the Columbia River Gorge, so it often has much fewer hikers than other nearby waterfalls. Gorton Creek Falls is ideal for more experienced hikers because you will have to climb some boulders at the end of the hike. As long as you're not in a rush, you'll stay safe, just be mindful that a majority of the rocks are covered in moss year-round.
This waterfall is ideal for landscape photographers since it is practically shaded all day long due to the high canyon walls surrounding the falls. If you have a sense of adventure and love to explore secluded areas, don't hesitate to see Gorton Creek Falls.
