Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park

Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park is a newer amusement park, open since July of 2001. It is located in Gilroy, California, and features 19 rides, 6 gardens, and 27 other attractions. The child-friendly rides include a carousel, mini Ferris wheel, tea cups, paddle boat, train and fire truck rides, a raft ride, swings, a banana-shaped swinging ship ride, and even a junior roller coaster. There is a water play area complete with a splash pad and slides, perfect for those hot summer days. 

The 6 different gardens in the park feature a wide range of beautiful plants and habitats. It features sub-tropical plants, conifers, hollies, camellias, native plants from South Santa Clara Valley, and more. There are 20 “circus trees'' scattered through the park, sculpted with unique designs in a very intriguing array. Ticket prices start at $38 per person for ages 3+, and admittance to the Water Oasis area requires an additional price. The park is open from 10 am to 6 pm on weekends, starting on Memorial Day weekend. It is open during the week (excluding Mondays and Tuesdays) from 11 am to 5 pm.
