Da Yoopers Tourist Trap

This roadside attraction was created by the Da Yoopers comedy troupe and contains many bizarre and strange creations. This group of comedians based their bits on the Upper Peninsula lifestyle of drinking, hunting, and shoveling snow. The seasons are extreme in this area of the US, so jokes and other teasing is plentiful, and even celebrated, by many residents.

Da Yooper’s Tourist Trap is also their recording studio and features a gift shop with t-shirts and trinkets. American flags line the street leading up to the museum. The most notable “artifact” can be seen from the row of flags is the world’s largest working chainsaw, name Big Gus. The world’s largest working rifle is also available for viewing pleasures.
