Beautiful gardens in a historic setting
Chanticleer is a beautiful garden in which to wander and appreciate the beauty of nature. Chanticleer is 30 minutes from Philadelphia and was once known as the Rosegarten estate. The grounds became open to the public in 1993. Visitors are welcome to tour the estate seasonally, from April through October. The house and grounds were added to the National Register of HIstoric Places in 1984. London's Financial Times says this garden is "planted to perfection" and Garden Design magazine says it is "America's most inspiring garden." There is an entrance fee.
