Hike to the "Niagara of Pennsylvania" in the Pocono Mountains.
Bushkill Falls is located in Lehman Township, Pennsylvania, in the Pocono Mountains. This area boasts 300 acres with eight different waterfalls plus several hiking trails. Bushkill Falls is privately owned by the Charles Peters Estate but is leased and operated by Aramark. There is a fee to get into the falls; please check their website for current rates and conditions. You can also go fishing at the nearby Twin Lakes by purchasing an on-site fishing permit.
This is an excellent place for hikers of all ages. They have four trails to choose from, including an easy 15-minute trail to a more advanced 2-mile rugged trail. Each hiking path is well-maintained, and the falls are beautiful. Bushkill Falls is closed from December through March. Please note that the falls are the busiest on weekends and holidays, so arrive as early as possible to ensure you can find a parking spot. If you love waterfalls, be sure to visit this place while traveling through Pennsylvania.
