Visit an exquisite garden full of various plants and easy walking paths.
Atlanta's Botanical Garden is a gorgeous attraction where visitors can find beauty and tranquility. Events and exhibits are often held here, making every visit a unique experience. An annual Garden of Eden Ball is their largest fundraising event that occurs around the end of September. A special treat during the holiday season is when they string lights throughout the garden and allow visitors to come during the dark winter nights. The garden is open Tuesday through Sunday from 9 am to 9 pm, with the last entry at 8 pm from May 1 through October 31. During the rest of the year, hours can vary, but it always opens at 9 am.
Several different sights within the garden make it easy to spend half a day enjoying the pleasant surroundings and luscious landscape. Plants that you may see include azaleas, camellias, roses, orchids, and more. Please note that all general admission tickets are non-refundable, regardless of inclement weather. Online tickets are available and are recommended for you to have guaranteed admission to the garden. Outdoor food and drinks are not allowed, but there are a few snack bars and cafes within the garden. Pets (except for service dogs) are not allowed.
