See an impressive waterfall in the mountains of northern Georgia.
Amicalola Falls State Park is located in northern Georgia and is only miles away from the Appalachian Trail. The Amicalola waterfall is over 700 feet high and is the third-highest cascading waterfall east of the Mississippi River. Along with the falls, visitors can take guided hikes, a zipline tour, practice archery, and even meet a bird of prey up close while they're here. A 1.5-hour archery session costs $30 per person and includes the use of their equipment. You will be shooting at 3D targets, and everyone must wear close-toed shoes during this activity.
This state park also features a large lodge. Most of their rooms have spectacular views and create a welcoming environment to relax and take in the area's natural beauty. With so much to see and do, you won't regret reserving a room at the lodge so you can get the most out of your visit. Explore Amicalola Falls State Park the next time you're in Georgia.
