The Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park in Atlanta, Georgia commemorates the life of the great Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and offers patrons insight into his life, especially the early years. This park is 35 acres in size with numerous sites that have all played key roles in MLK’s life. At the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park, you can explore sites like his childhood home, Ebenezer Baptist Church, which is where Dr. King spent much of his life, as well as the grave of him and his wife, Coretta Scott King. These sites pull huge crowds of visitors each January on MLK Day as a way to honor him and his legacy.
