Piedmont Park

Spend an afternoon at one of Atlanta's top-rated parks.

Piedmont Park is a little slice of paradise that offers various outdoor recreation, including basketball, tennis, fishing, and swimming at the pool. Dogs are allowed on leashes; however, there are several off-leash dog parks within Piedmont Park. Food carts are scattered throughout the park grounds and are usually open daily from 12 pm to 5 pm (weather permitting). Feel free to bring your own food and enjoy a picnic in the park. A picnic shelter is available by reservation and can accommodate more than 50 people. They also have 22 grills throughout the park, providing opportunities for visitors to grill burgers and other meals if they so choose.

This public park is open daily from 6 am to 11 pm. It is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the sunshine amongst the busy city. Please note that the swimming pool is open annually from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The Legacy Fountain Splash Pad is open year-round, except during extremely cold weather. All facilities are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Weekends are the busiest times to visit and parking tends to be sparse on those days. Piedmont Park is a family-friendly and pet-friendly place that all can enjoy.
