The World’s Fair Park is a lovely public park in Knoxville, Tennessee that was the site of the 1982 World’s Fair. The park continues to be a popular destination for visitors from all over – it features several attractions such as the Sunsphere, which is a large steel structure with a gold-colored glass sphere at the top as well as an observation deck that provides sweeping views of the surrounding city and the Knoxville Museum of Art, which showcases an impressive variety of American art from the region.
The World’s Fair Park also features beautiful gardens, walking paths, sculptures, fountains, splash pads, and even a sizeable lawn and amphitheater where concerts and other events are held throughout the year.
