The Wallace mining museum opened in 1956 and now has over 50 exhibits containing over 5,000 pictures and maps. Visitors can also experience what it was like to mine by participating in a mock mining experience. This museum is the perfect way to connect with the town’s past and brings the history of mining to life. Stop by here for a chance to discover what the mining industry is all about. It is open Wednesday through Sunday from 9 am to 3 pm.
