The Morton Arboretum is located west of Chicago in Lisle, Illinois. It features a vast collection of trees such as magnolias, oaks, conifers, willows, maples, elms, and more. This arboretum is split into two sections, an east and west side, making it easier to navigate the area. Families with younger children can have a good time on the east side at the maze garden, children's garden, and word garden. Picturesque landscapes that are represented are marshes, lakes, and prairies.
This attraction is open daily from 7 am to sunset. Guests can easily spend several hours roaming around admiring the trees and wildlife that surrounds them. You will also see several large wooden sculptures throughout this outdoor space. There are three main paved trails, all of which are ADA accessible.
