Cave-In-Rock State Park is located in southeastern Illinois, bordering the Ohio River. This state park encompasses over 200 acres and features a 55-foot wide limestone cave. There are roughly 60 steps leading up to the mouth of the cave, and the surrounding area is wooded, offering adventure for all hiking enthusiasts. If you need to cool off, use boat ramps and have some fun on the water. Other outdoor recreational activities you can do at Cave-In-Rock include picnicking, fishing, geocaching, and camping at Cave-In-Rock.
Their campground is on the park's north side and can accommodate RVs up to 30 feet long. They have 34 class A and 25 class B sites, plus a dump station. There is also an on-site lodge and restaurant at Cave-In-Rock. If you work up an appetite during your stay, feel free to sit down for a meal at the restaurant.
