Stewart Beach is a family-friendly park in Galveston, Texas. This beach is located northeast of the Galveston Island Pleasure Pier attraction. It has lifeguards on duty during peak visiting hours and hosts multiple family-oriented events throughout the year. Enjoy playing beach volleyball, building sandcastles, swimming, surfing, or simply relaxing on the beach while you're here. Please note that the boat launch is located at the east end of the beach park.
One of the best times to visit is when they are hosting a Galveston Family Beach Challenge. This free event is a great way to bond with kids. The beach has several games to choose from such as giant Connect Four, life-size Battleship, giant Jenga, sack races, and more. Parking passes are required for each vehicle and cost $12 to $15 per day. Showers, restrooms, concession stands, and umbrella rentals are available at Stewart Beach.
