Take a look at vehicles from the early 20th century.
Through a self-guided tour, visitors can discover America's love of automobiles. The Pioneer Auto Museum includes different motorcycles, tractors, scooters, and bicycles as well. Inside, you will see a double-headed car, a motor home from the 1900s, farm equipment like a "hotrod manure spreader," Elvis's motorcycle, and General Lee from the Dukes of Hazzard. These one-of-a-kind vehicles are what makes this museum worth a visit. The museum features over 275 classic cars, tractors, and motorcycles from several eras. They also have an old filling station with vintage signage and a 1950s diner.
The Covered Wagon Café offers all-American food such as juicy burgers, thick shakes, daily specials, and other popular items. Stop by the Hallmark gift shop for Elvis items, caps, signs, T-shirts, motorcycle, and Harley memorabilia. They also sell antique toys, collectibles, John Deere & antique farm memorabilia, books, Black Hills Jewelry, and cool automotive signs. Choose from either the car tour, the tractor tour, the motorcycle tour, a kids treasure hunt, or The Prairie Town. The Prairie Town tours through a turn of the century town complete with a railroad depot, bank, general store, gas station, church, school, camera shop, butcher shop, etc. This museum has a lot to see and is a fun, family-friendly attraction.
