Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Garden encompass over 300-acres, including 6 miles of paved and wood chip walking trails. There are over 1,700 plant species, including 300 different types of iris. Explore the trails, visitor center, open prairie, ponds, and lovely landscape. Admission is less than $5 per person, and this outdoor attraction is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm. If you are interested in guided tours, they also offer those. Please note that golf cart tours are limited to 12 people and are specifically for those with disabilities.
The Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical gardens are home to various gardens. A unique feature is the Legacy Garden, which is home to four time capsules that are open every 25 years. The international sculpture garden displays beautiful masterpieces, and the children's gardens have spiraling walkway tunnels that allow kids to get their energy out. Margaret's pond is the perfect location to watch birds and amphibians. The Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Garden have a high standard of etiquette.
