The McRitchie-Hollis Museum is located in downtown Newnan, Georgia. It features Neoclassical architecture and was built in the late 1930s. After major renovations, this historic home reflects the coloration and style of the 1930s and 1940s. Original features of the home include several gas fireplaces, decorative crown molding, and hardwood flooring. This stunning historical home has been open since 2013 and it often hosts special events such as weddings and receptions.
Museum hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am to 12 pm, and 1 pm to 3 pm. You can also make appointments to visit on Sunday or Monday. Admission rates are $5 per adult, $2 for seniors, students, and children ages 4 - 12, and free for children ages 0 - 3. If you're visiting Atlanta, Georgia, be sure to stop by the McRitchie-Hollis Museum before you go. History buffs in particular will enjoy taking a tour of this historic home.
