Explore the wilderness surrounding the Chattahoochee River in Georgia.
Chattahoochee Bend State Park is located in northwestern Georgia. This is one of Georgia's largest state parks, it spans almost 3,000 acres of land. Visitors enjoy hiking, kayaking, wildlife observation, mountain biking, camping, fishing, geocaching, and picnicking here. Please note that most of the river is flat, but it is not suitable for tubing due to the depth of the water. This place offers six miles of trails for hikers and mountain bikers to explore the woods and breathe in the fresh air.
A $5 parking fee is required for everyone coming to Chattahoochee Bend State Park. Park hours are 7 am to 10 pm daily. You are welcome to reserve one of the cottages, campsites, or picnic shelters according to your needs. Feel free to call during office hours (8 am to 5 pm) or make reservations online.
