Visit one of the most photographed lighthouses in Michigan.
Marquette Harbor Lighthouse offers tours to visitors from mid-May through mid-October Tuesday through Sunday, beginning at 11:30 am, 1 pm, and 2:30 pm. This iconic red lighthouse is not the original one; it was built to replicate the 1853 lighthouse that once stood here. Several lighthouse keepers were in charge of the Marquette Harbor Lighthouse during its operation. The museum houses several artifacts, which allow guests to learn about the lighthouse's history.
This is the oldest historically significant structure in Marquette, Michigan. The lighthouse museum is open seasonally from 11 am to 4 pm, and admission ranges from $7 to $12 per person. Each tour lasts about an hour. Feel free to explore the maritime museum at your own pace before or after your tour. Marquette Harbor Lighthouse is a family-friendly attraction that all can enjoy.
